Listen to daily coaching sessions at a time that suits you (under 7 mins)
Weekly live online group coaching sessions (30 mins)
Keep a simple food journal

Am I eligible?
The snackless programme is suitable for any English speaking patient of Thorndike Partnership who:
-
would benefit from eating fewer snacks from a physical and/or mental health perspective
-
can commit 10 minutes per day for 30 days to taking part in the programme (for listening to a daily coaching session & keeping a simple food journal)
-
can commit 30 minutes per week to attending a group coaching session
-
has internet access
-
is not taking weight loss medication - as you need to experience urges to eat for the programme to work.
The snackless programme is particularly popular amongst those who want to lose weight and struggle with emotional eating.​
When are the online group coaching sessions?
Week 1 - Readiness and goal setting
Tuesday 30th Sept at 7.30pm OR Wednesday 1st Oct at 9.30am
Week 2 - Emotional snacking
Tuesday 7th Oct at 7.30pm OR Wednesday 8th Oct at 9.30am
Week 3 - Strategies to stop snacking
Tuesday 14th Oct at 7.30pm OR Wednesday 15th Oct at 9.30am
Week 4 - Nailing your strategies
Tuesday 21st Oct at 7.30pm OR Wednesday 22nd Oct at 9.30am

How much does it cost?
​The programme is free to NHS Thorndike patients who can use coupon code THORNDIKE at checkout (usually £187 to private individuals).​
How will coaching get me to stop snacking?
The snackless programme teaches a very simple method to stop you from responding to every urge to eat - that method is distraction.
​
All you need to do to avoid over-eating is recognise your first thought about food as it’s happening, and then distract yourself with an alternative activity so that the urge to eat subsides. Clearly, knowing this isn't enough to actually make you eat less - you have to practice. This is where the snackless programme comes in. The snackless programme guides you at a specific pace so that you can practice (1) recognising your urges to eat (2) finding different distracting activities that suit your lifestyle (3) implementing the ones that work for you, so you get real, long lasting results.

Nobody tells you what to eat or when. Nobody looks at your food journal.
When can I start?
Day 1 of the 30 day programme will be Wednesday 1st October 2025, so be sure to sign up before then.
